With over 25 years of project and programme management experience across marine, coastal, and terrestrial sectors, Caroline Chambers provides a strong focus on spatial planning and evidence-based decision making. Caroline has led multidisciplinary teams and managed diverse supply chains, with her experience spanning strategic survey operations, environmental and socio-economic assessments, the development of standards and quality assurance processes, and the design of organisational frameworks and reviews.
Her clients include Defra, Welsh Government, the Marine Management Organisation, Natural England, JNCC, Environment Agency, Natural Resources Wales, The Crown Estate, WWF UK, British Geological Survey, UK Space Agency, coastal partnerships, NGOs, and private sector organisations. Many projects also involve engagement with a diverse set of national stakeholders across Government, industry, fisheries and recreation.

Caroline has spent her career keeping abreast of developments in the marine sector, attending the major UK conferences such as Coastal Futures, Floating Offshore Wind, Oceanology, Southwest Marine Ecosystems and the Coastal Partnership Network. Her wider interests in regenerative agriculture, landscape recovery, and nature-led solutions have led to attendance at the Coombeshead Rewilding Conference, the Wild Summit, and current membership of local Devon groups including the Devon Rewilding Network, Bowden Pillars Cohousing Village Nature Group, Chagford Nature Network and SoilED.
